Geowox collects vast amounts of property data from diverse sources, which we use in our property value estimates. Most of the information comes from open (semi-) governmental data collected from assessors, treasurers, postal code databases, mapping agencies, registers and recorders of deeds, and other government officials.

Also, just like a surveyor would, AVMs can access data about properties currently for sale, including the subject property, collected from home listings.

The data can include property characteristics, current asking price, sale agreed price, and final transaction price, which may be defined into the AVM data source.
